Councillor Rupali Paul welcomes the government funding of £347,000 for Sale library.
Central government, through the 'libraries improvement fund' (LIF) have awarded Trafford £347,000 to go towards improvements and renovations to Sale library. This money is so that local authorities can improve digital infrastructure and update buildings.
Reading and literacy are incredibly important to Trafford Conservatives. Libraries are important spaces for youth. Libraries play an important role in a child's development.
Central government shares these priorities, and has invested a total of £10.5m nationally to help libraries, £347,000 of which has been awarded to Trafford for Sale library.
Trafford Conservatives welcome this investment and can only hope that Trafford Council put this money to good use.
