Councillor Nathan Evans Leader of Trafford Conservative Group is disappointed that the Labour- run Council can find the resources to target blue badge drivers and doesn’t invest that time and resource on those who can clearly be identified, eg. pavement parking near schools and those drivers around our schools who show no shame and risk children's lives.
Only recently Oldfield Brow school attended the council chamber asking for a more vigilant approach.
Cllr Phil Eckersley who highlighted the schools 20mph petition said "come on Trafford, let's target this work centred around the real issues: Oldfield Brow school, Altrincham Girls Grammer, Cloverley and Wellgreen to name a few.
Proper enforcement and a few tickets around those schools and others would soon sort out the issues.
