Labour supported by the Lib Dems have threatened the village with parking charges since the 2021 budget, but now the order has come out to say they are doing it!
One of the reasons Timperley has a chance is because of the fact that shoppers can easily park in Timperley . We did a survey of the shops in the village and every one of them that we spoke to was against these charges.
Help us to make sure that Timperley has the best chance of thriving by signing our petition which we will bring to the council chamber. Also use your vote to make sure you vote for the party that will revers the charges.
Lib dems voted for these charges as did the Greens, all voted with Labour.
These charges will make it more likely folk will travel to Aldi, Tesco's or even the Trafford centre where parking is hassle free.
