We will be asking the council and Sir Richard Leese to get the Altrincham Minor Injuries unit back open.
Local resident Christine is one of many who have contacted us about the lack of plans for this vital service.
"By keeping the unit closed they are adding more burden onto Wythenshawe Hospital.
Increasing waiting times for serious health issues."
Chair of the Integrated Care Board is Sir Richard Leese, care is devolved in Greater Manchester as part of Integrated Care System.
So why are we left with no minor injuries unit when these fine words sit on their website;
"Trafford Integrated Care Partnership planning is built around our towns – Altrincham, Stretford, Urmston, Partington and Sale – and neighbourhoods, and by working with other localities in the Greater Manchester Integrated Care Partnership. We’ll achieve our aims by bringing together partners and colleagues to design and deliver on our ambitions for better lives for our most vulnerable people; better wellbeing for our population; and better connections across our communities."
