New housing development could be built on land next to Trafford College.
40 new homes are in for planning consent where currently the college has an artificial football pitch, overflow car park and some green space.
Residents have contacted us to say they are concerned at the impact this development with have on the local area. The loss of sports facilities, green space, extra pressure on the roads and the prospect of "free for all" on parking with the car park being removed. Residents feel that this will add more stress on schools, medical practices and local services. Not to mention the day to day traffic which will add to the area’s congestion and pollution issues.
Dr Kaushik Chakraborty, a local resident says "Additional traffic will cause even more queuing of cars at junctions with their engines running and have even more impact on our environment ".
Please let us hear your views by filling in the form below and we will present these findings to the planning department.
