The jubilee Centre could be lost. It is not only Altrincham Town Hall that is under threat.

Labour seem to be dragging their feet on a Council pledge to rebuild Bowdon’s busy Jubilee community centre. Many community groups use the centre and a replacement is very much needed. Other local facilities are busy or too costly to hire. In Bowdon Conservatives ward-wide survey, residents supported the retention of a community centre on this site.

Conservative councillors will be pressing the Council to stand by the original pledge to build a new community centre on the site.
